Respect For All Launching a New Support and Helpline

Date of article:
Friday, May 29, 2020

Many of you will be familiar with Respect for All as a counselling service. We are still running our counselling service (currently via phone or video), but we have been given some extra funding to provide a helpline to provide additional emotional support to autistic people, to people with learning disabilities, and to carers during the Coronivirus crisis. This telephone support and helpline is free and open to all living in Greater Manchester. The helpline will be staffed by trained and experienced counsellors. Many of the counsellors have lived experience of autism and learning disabilities, so they offer unique expertise. For full information and daily opening hours, please see our Helpline Page here on the website.

We are very grateful to the Greater Manchester Health and Social Care Partnership Covid-19 Response Fund for grant funding enabling this service.
